No forex for students, medical trips abroad – Buhari


President Buhari says the Federal government will henceforth not be making provisions of foreign exchange allocation for Nigerians schooling abroad or those seeking medical treatment overseas‎. This position is contrary to that of the CBN which had stated in a communique last month that it had not banned the allocation of foreign exchange for education and medical bills.

US presidential hopefuls Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have maintained their status as front-runners in the latest round of voting for their parties' nominations.
Despite defeats to Ted Cruz in Kansas and Maine, Republican Mr Trump won in Louisiana and Kentucky.
Other Republican contenders Marco Rubio and John Kasich made little progress.
Mrs Clinton lost to Bernie Sanders in the Democratic races in Kansas and Nebraska, but won in Louisiana.
Texas Senator Cruz now appears to be the only candidate who can stop Mr Trump, analysts say, after a week in which the Republican establishment did everything it could to attack the New York tycoon.

Suspicious! Tragedy struck the Lagos State University (LASU) on Friday as a 200 level female student from the Department of History and International Relations died after attending a send forth party.
A second male student is said to be on danger list at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH). Both he and the late female student were vomiting blood.

Popular US rapper shot dead in a studio in Atlanta...

Popular upcoming Atlanta rapper, Bankroll Fresh, was shot dead on Friday night March 4th while he was recording music inside Street Execs Studio in northeast Atlanta. According to reports, gunmen stormed the building with automatic weapons and shot up the studio. The 28 year old rapper, whose given name is Trentavious White was reportedly shot a dozen times. He was rushed to the hospital but died on his way. RIP!

EFCC is now a toothless bulldog - Obasanjo

Breaking : Obasanjo, Yar’Adua, Jonathan govts must account for recovered loot – Court

       The Federal High Court sitting in Lagos in a landmark judgment has held that successive governments since the return of democracy in 1999 “breached the fundamental principles of transparency and accountability for failing to disclose details about the spending of recovered stolen public funds, including on a dedicated website.”

  The court then ordered the government of President Muhammadu Buhari to “ensure that his government, and the governments of former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, and former President Goodluck Jonathan account fully for all recovered loot.”
