Fans embarking on this season's Mail Online Fantasy Football game will be scouring the Premier League as we speak - but they'll also need to find room to squeeze in their euro star.
Euro
stars will come into play before the Champions League group stages with
domestic league competitions also counting when it comes to point
scoring.
Players
will need to locate a Euro Scout code found in the Daily Mail or on
Mail Online in order to raid either Spain, Italy, Germany or France for
their favourite players.
But
be careful, it's only possible to buy four euro stars throughout the
season and the purchase will have to come out of your £135m budget.
Below Sportsmail looks at six of the most tempting purchases as well as all the other euro stars available for your Fantasy Football Game squad.
Lionel Messi (Barcelona) - £16million
Barcelona
star Lionel Messi will no doubt be top of most players’ euro star
wish-list this season, but the Argentine wizard will cost you a whopping
£16million to land.
Messi
grabbed 53 goals in La Liga and the Champions League last season
combined, meaning many fans will see his big price tag as money well
spent.
Lionel Messi is a star both in La Liga and the Champions League and he could be yours for £16million
Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) - £16million
If
Messi was not the first choice on your wish-list then the chances are
his on-field rival Cristiano Ronaldo definitely will be.
Like
Messi, Ronaldo scores La Liga and Champions League goals for fun, but
the Portuguese international will also set you back £16m.
Are you more of a Cristiano Ronaldo fan? If so the Real Madrid forward will also set you back a cool £16m
Neymar (Barcelona) - £15.3million
Many
football fans believe Neymar will eventually become the new Messi and
you can have the Brazilian in your side for a cool £15.3m.
Neymar
bagged 22 goals in La Liga last season and also hit double figures in
the Champions League meaning he’ll provide plenty of bang for your buck.
Nobody really knows exactly how much Neymar cost Barcelona, but the Brazilian will only cost you £15.3m
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (PSG) - £15.5million
Do
you dare to Zlatan? There aren’t too many defenders that can keep
striker Ibrahimovic under wraps and you can snap him up for a fairly
reasonable £15.5m if you want him as one of your euro stars.
The
former Barcelona man scored 19 goals in Ligue 1 last season as PSG
romped to victory and the French giants are expected to dominate once
again this year.
Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a dominant force over defenders in France and he will cost players £15.5
Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich) - £6.9million
If
that abundance of attacking wealth doesn’t excite you, and keeping a
tight ship is more your thing, then Manuel Neuer, one of the world’s
best goalkeepers, is available for £6.9m.
He
is sure to grab a few clean sheets this season, in fact he kept 20 of
them last season, and he's sure to be in fine form again as Bayern
Munich look to win the Bundesliga once again.
You could have one of the world's best goalkeepers at your disposal for a more than reasonable £6.9m
Paul Pogba (Juventus) - £13.2million
Alternatively
you could introduce French international midfielder Paul Pogba to your
ranks for £13.2m… a lot less than the £50m plus he is rated at by
Juventus bosses.
Barcelona
and Manchester City reportedly want the former Manchester United
youngster and it’s unsurprising after an impressive couple of seasons in
Italy, but he could be yours...
Paul Pogba would cost duo Manchester City and Barcelona more than £50m but he's yours for just £13.2m
